Dr. Sandra Wedig

Dr. Sandi graduated from the University Of Wisconsin School Of Veterinary Medicine in 1998.  She then worked at a small animal clinic in Wisconsin Rapids before following her husband to Sun Prairie. In 2000, she founded the small animal portion of PVA.   An avid cat lover, Dr. Sandi has a special interest in feline medicine and surgery. She also enjoys diagnostic imaging and is currently pursuing advanced training in abdominal ultrasound. 

In addition to membership in the state (WVMA) and national (AVMA) veterinary medical associations, she is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), Cornell University Feline Health Center, International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management (IVAPM)  and the American Heartworm Society. 

When not at work, Dr. Sandi enjoys spending time with her husband, Richard, her son, Carson, and five cats at their home in the town of Bristol.   

Dr. Kathryn Cotter

Dr. Katie graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009 and joined PVA in the spring of 2011.  She has been working in the veterinary field since 1985 and has a special interest in canine behavior and pocket pets.  She is pursuing advanced training in dentistry and oral surgery. 

Dr. Katie is a  member of the state (WVMA) and national (AVMA) veterinary medical associations and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management (IVAPM).

When not at work, Dr. Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children, Buster the Bulldog, 2 cats Mickey and Mona and her 28 year old Umbrella Cockatoo, Pomlico.
